When registering for Local Reminder we ask for information such as your name and email address. Your information is only used internally and won't be shared with others.
Local Reminder collects the email addresses of those who communicate with us via email, as well as aggregated, anonymous user data regarding app usage. We only collect personal data that is required to provide our services.
Information we automatically collect:
- Identifiers — IP address, device ID, device information (model, brand, OS).
- Device location information — GPS data when using Local Reminder features. We may also use Wi-Fi access point and cell tower data. We don't share location information with others.

- Usage information — app use data, interactions with our team, transaction records.
- Third-party information — if you register via Facebook or Google, we receive your username, email, and profile picture.
Your Data
Local Reminder uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide necessary infrastructure. Although Local Reminder owns the code, databases, and all rights to the application, you retain all rights to your data. We will never share your personal data with a 3rd party without your prior authorization, and we will never sell data to 3rd parties. We process data inside of Canada.
